Representatives from the International Rescue Committee in Atlanta (like us on Facebook and sign up to receive our newsletter – make sure you put in your zip to receive the Georgia newsletter) and the Coalition of Refugee Service Agencies (like us on Facebook) will be on Capitol Hill in DC today meeting with the offices of Senator Isakson and Senator Perdue.
Please take a moment this morning to contact Senator Isakson to help facilitate today’s meeting and ensure he knows there are a majority of supporters in Georgia who support the continued resettlement of refugees into the U.S. and Georgia.

The Coalition of Refugee Service Agencies (CRSA), a coalition of fourteen individual agencies whose mission is to engage a broad coalition to highlight the cultural, social and economic contributions of refugees and immigrants in Georgia, and its member – the International Rescue Committee in Atlanta will be visiting your office on Friday March 10, 2017. Please know I support refugees, immigrants and the continued resettling of refugees into the U.S., Georgia and my community and ask that you personally meet with these representatives on this important matter of our country and state continuing to welcome those fleeing persecution.
