Please join the Coalition of Refugee Service Agencies for their annual New Americans Celebration at the Georgia State Capitol tomorrow, Tuesday March 7, 2017, starting at 7:45 a.m. across the street at Central Presbyterian Church culminating with the 3rd Annual U.S. Citizenship Naturalization Ceremony at 12:45 p.m. inside the Georgia State Capitol.
The New Americans Celebration is the annual day of education and outreach for refugees, immigrants and Georgia community members who support them. Every year the CRSA welcomes over 200 volunteers to the Georgia State Capitol to learn about engaging with your Legislators and to reach out to tell them why you feel refugees should continue to be welcome in Georgia.
If you have never attended a swearing in ceremony of your fellow new Americans it is a very powerful and moving event and we encourage you to join us.
Last chance to register for the event here.
Whether you can attend or not please send the following email today to your state Senator and Representative with the subject line”New American’s Celebration”….
